They ruined him now, but the 3D game that stayed true to the original is simply amazing.

And that's certainly the plan...maybe I should PM you some of my prototype designs for ACWii since you love the series. I don't feel comfortable posting them publicly, but I do of course need feedback (not that I have any say in how the game is made, but hopefully one day I'll be able to work for Nintendo...it's been my dream since I was 5 for...well, personal reasons)

Well, it doesn't help that I'm not Japanese, but I'm still gonna go for it, so it's good to have some support, even if we just met yesterday =] (and online no less!)

Now, realize I'm not the graphic designer, so there'll be a lot of text, but sometimes I can't find the right words so I'll make a few pics for those instances, though their quality may or may not be so great =P

ROFL, you get those prototypes to me when you have them ready. Don't rush, it creates sloppy work.
There are a lot of brilliant caucasian game designers/programmers. Ethnicity has nothing to do with. I'm half Chinese and half German and I'm not sitting on a million dollar job, but I have pretty good skills.

Oh, I know it has nothing to do with your ability, but it's hard to get to work on a game like Animal Crossing if you're not Japanese...heck, it's hard to even get hired for Nintendo if you're not at least Japanese-American XP

And the designs themselves aren't rushed, it's just getting them typed up that'll take awhile XD

Like I said, where there is a will there is a way. If you look at the credits on games, not everyone is Japanese.
You just keep that head high and see every obstacle as an adventure that will make you stronger in the end....dear God, I'm starting to sound like Dr. Phil....Lol. Maybe I should make a thread.

The only ones that aren't are the NoA Localization Staff...all the designers are Japanese =P

On a completely unrelated note, is there a way to get an animal to move back into your town? Cuz the only one who's ever given me a picture just left today T_T

I can tell you this, my husband and I both have DS' and we both have ACWW. He originally had Stitches. Stitches moved to my town for a little while and then back to his. Then I got Stitches once more and he disappeared again (back to hubby's town). So I guess the answer may be yes?

Ah, but she didn't disappear to another DS, she sent me a note saying she was moving away, but not after I was connected to anyone else wirelessly or over wifi.

Stitches sent me a note saying he was leaving. I didn't know where she went. A lot of times the character is "gone" until you connect with someone, then they will reappear.

Maybe by AR, but I'm not even sure on that one. But I don't think so. You have to connect to someone else for them to show up in their town and then you can try to win them back.
