Q:What is a friend code?
A:Nintendo was the first company to have friends online that needed friend codes. In some Nintendo games (example AC:WW) you need friend codes in order to play online, in others like Mario Kart you can play agaist strangers and add friends only if you know them.

Q:Where do I get other peoples friend codes
A:Well on the Friend Codes and Online play forum of course

Q:Do both people need the Friend Code?
A:yes If one desn't have one they can not enter eachothers town

Q:If my DS is turned off can my friends still come to my town
A:Of course not! in order to allow friends to come to your town they have to have the gates open

Q:How do I open my gates
A:Go to the town gates talk to the do on the right and click invite friends. If you want to visit someone elses town then just click Go out

Q:What is Nintendo Wifi
Nintendo Wifi is basically online play via your wireless router in you don't have a wireless router it may not work at all!

Q:How do I add a friend
Hit the Inventory button then hit the heart then go down and a button will say register you need a FC a Town name and a player name

It was in the general friend codes sections, but it's only about AC:WW friend codes.

But the directions are for wifi, right? He used ACWW as an example. He also has Mario Kart as an example.
