You find someone who has something you want and you have something they want.
Just like you trade in real life, except you wi-fi or ds to ds with them, put the stuff on the ground, pick up what you need, they pick up wha6t they need and ta-da, trading.
I'm horrible at explaining things, so hopefully this didn't lose you.
