Tituba? Really? I suppose she was the best character from that stupid book, but still...
I would probably choose Smithers from the Alex Rider series; he makes gadgets for British intel. division MI6 and when he makes them for Alex, he bases them on normal items like GameBoys and YoYos. He's also a very jolly chap ^_^
