I was wondering if someone could help me out. I just got Animal Crossing Wild World yesterday and today I was given a hearth.

What is a hearth?

If there's a topic explaining what items are, please let me know. :D

If not, could someone tell me what this item is and does?

OMG I actually bought one of these!!

It's a big hole in the ground filled with rocks, and coals that are all heated up at the bottom, with a big rod that goes up to the ceiling, that holds like, a pot or something, I TOTALLY HAVE ONE!!!!!

so it holds a pot lol? to make food i assume. :P

Yeah, a hearth is kind of a fireplace, but on AC:WW it's more of a fire with a cooking pot over it. Lol.
