Hey all! I was just wondering, what's the most expensive item in the game? Is it one of the fish, or the bugs?
For a while, I thought the Arapema (sp) was the most expensive thing in the game. (Expensive in the sense that it got you a lot of money when you sold it.) But then I saw that the Arowena (sp) is worth more than the Arapema, and I think the "living fossil" Coelcanth is somewhere between the two.
Or is there a piece of furniture thats more expensive than both?
Could someone shed some light on this for me?

I think the crown is the most.
You have to buy at at a whopping 1,200,000 bells! It makes me look dirt poor!
The thrones are 50,000, I think.
There are thrones and crowns in ACGC? Or are you lost?
EDIT: The Arapaima and Arowana go for 10,000 bells each. The Coelacanth goes for 15,000 bells, so I think that is the most expensive thing in the game.
Tom Nook will buy sharks for a whopping 20, 000 bells.
Are there any codes for these things. or is it just luck that you get these by?
You can get them on AR, but it's not recommended. Most of the time it's just luck. The royal set-Crown throne etc. and the halo, are almost impossible to come by, and you can't order them, which is a huge downside.
Oh, that sucks. Lol. Though it's probably for the best. I have a pretty bad habit of cheating at games. Though my husband says it doesn't matter much with this game, because there's pretty much no point to it. (or so he thinks). *shrugs*
And. Sorry for not knowing the "lingo", but what is AR? o.O? XD I'm still pretty new. I only just heard about the game last summer.
I just realized. My question really didn't get answered. Lol! I was talking about the rarest items in the GC version. I do have the DS version too, but I really only play the GC version.
So, any insight?

For furniter, I guess Black Kings/White Kings (chess pieces) are the most exspensive. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Tom Nook sells them for 23, 000 bells.
For fish, sharks are bought for 20, 000 bells.
For bugs, Giant Stag Beetles (is that the right name?) are bought for 10, 000 bells.
So, there are sharks in the gamecube version? I was on another site that listed all of the fish and all the bugs, and when I could catch them, and the shark wasn't listed, plus, I play like. every day, and I STILL haven't caught one. (-_\\)*
