Animal Crossing vs. Animal Crossing: Wild World for Christmas?

Hey guys and gals.

Well, Christmas is coming around the corner, and Animal Crossing has caught my interest after seeing what it is about. What I want to know is what you suggest that I get: the original AC, or Wild World?

They both offer very unique experiences. I must say that I prefer console gaming, but it would be nice to have a portable version for a game of this type because of the convenience and dealing with a real time clock. But the original also seems to be more complete (correct me if I'm wrong), with more and/or better holidays. Also, I heard that Wild World doesn't have real holidays like Halloween and Christmas :(

Which would you suggest to me?

AC:WW ROCKS!
I have both though.
I suggest AC:WW because whoever told you they didn't celebrate some holidays is a LIAR!
Well I never experienced Christmas, but I had Halloween.
They both have a real time clock.
The GCN is using the GameCube Time and the DS is using the DS time ^^
They are both Changeable.
The only problem with AC:WW is actually a good thing, it's more complex!

animal crossing ww doesn't have holidays such as haloween christmas etc... this is due to the fact that these holidays do not apply to all faith ands beliefs, however the game cube version has these holidays. The ds version has made up holidays such as li-di-da day, bright nights, flower festival, acorn festival and there is a new years countdown and fireworks every saturday in august.

Well I no this is late but I can't choose. On GC version the bad thing to me is the graphics. The screen annoyes me. It makes you stop, then moves the screen, THEN you can play again. It's just annoying. The holidays are cool though on it. You can really celebrate Christmas with the reindeer who walks around town and gives you gifts. Halloween you get to go trick or treating in your costumes. Thanksgiving a turkey comes and hides around your town. The ACWW for Ds is cool too because you get to connect with your friends who are close and people who aren't close. Only if you have a router(or Wi-Fi). You CANNOT, I repeat CANNOT, celebrate holidays on ACWW. Only fake like decorate your husefor Kwanzaa? i think. And christmas with a christmas tree. On new years eve you do get to see fireworks, get party popper and sparkles too. So they are both great. Yo uchoose which sounds better. Oh and GC version you can go to aan island and meet all these new people if you get this cable thing.

Paired with my 3 BEST FRIEND FOREVER!
~Ema~ We go through rough times... But like sisters in REAL life, We always stick together, And never leave each other. You are a FANTASTIC friend! Thanks! She's me BFF! <33
~Yeahtoast~ Wow.. SOO Many good times with her. We are BEST of friends! She helped me through rough times.. now THATS a good friend!
~Tuggy~ He's SUCH a great friend! He's soo funny, and he's ALWAYS there for ANYBODY. Thanks for being a FANTASTIC friend! :]

I would get animal crossing for the gamecube because it is more original and basically easier to understand. Animal crossing gc is like the best game you can play.
